I Shot a wedding where the Jack Kramer band was performing recently. They are a ton of fun and people (young and seasoned) danced up a storm. Jack is an excellent musician and MC.
I was out for a run, ok it was a very fast walk with moments of jogging, but anyway, I saw a skimboarder working the flooded parks of Vernon Hills. It's not very often you see a skimboarder in Vernon Hills. I called my son TJ and he road his bike over to see if the skimboarder would let him try it out. He did, and TJ had a blast. Thanks Nick! Here's some cool shots for you to peruse.
TJ with a large mouth bass TJ pulled a big ole catfish up! I've never seen a catfish out of this lake in 35 years of fishing it. Moments after TJ caught his bass, Gil pulled up an even bigger one.
Nice sunfish Gil!
Gil and TJ amused by the strange noises of the photographer

Treasure Cay Beach is 3 beautiful miles long. Jessie running on the beach. This is a Lens Baby shot (see below) A cool looking boat on Guana Cay If the sign says "NO DIVING!" would a flip be OK? I bought my Lens Baby Lens at a Photo seminar in California a couple of weeks ago. I'm having a blast with it! You focus by squeezing on the lens. Only a portion of the photo is in focus while the rest is rendered with a very smooth bokeh.
